Excellent accommodation. We stayed here with a large group and we all had a superb time. The villa is kept in great condition, all areas of the property have been finished and maintained to a very good standard. Plenty of fans and air conditioning units, all in working order. Several places to relax and enjoy the villa. The swimming pool is nicely kept and was used daily. 10 min walk to the main coastal road. Tuk tuks easily available on uber. Very spacious rooms and en-suites. The manager was very friendly and helpful, the cooks cooked us lovely traditional meals as requested.
If we stay in Hikkaduwa again in a large group, we will definitely stay here again.

Hikka Resort is probably the best holiday villa we have been in Sri Lanka. The place has 7 en suite bedrooms including massive bedroom with a jacuzzi. The place has many nooks and corners where you can find your own space and a large sitting area if you want to socialise with others. The pool is amazing and for those with kids you can keep them outside all day if you want some peace and quiet. The cook chandrika is very nice and accommodating and will make you feel like royalty with her constant attention. The manager Chanaka is a extremely pleasant congenial guy who will sort of any issue pronto. To be honest during the six days our extended family of 13 hardly had any issues. With just a 15 walk from the beach and 20 min walk or 10 min tuk tuk ride to the centre of Hikkaduwa, you may be hard pressed to find a location that can accommodate so many with all luxury!
We stayed at the beautiful Hikka Resort from 15th-23rd June and we could not recommend the villa enough.
Before our stay I had communication with Prasad from the get go, this ensured that any questions that I had prior to arrival where answered. I knew from this point onwards that our stay was going to be stress free.
Our point of contact during our stay was Chanaka, who was attentive and ensured that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From organising trips for us, to making sure we had everything we needed alongside are talented cook Chandrika who cooked us the most beautiful breakfast/lunch/dinner.
The villa is beautiful, it has everything you need for your stay and felt very secure. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and clean and were all cleaned during our stay, the AC system was fully functioning and the pool was also cleaned during our stay. We used the beautiful tranquil pool every single day and the temperature was just right.
We would also like to give a huge shout out to Sampath our driver, who picked us up from the airport and took us to and from our day trips, he made our travelling so much easier and we couldn’t have done it without him.
The villa is about 15-20 minute walk to turtle beach and takes even less time to reach the first of the restaurants and bars, if the walk became too much in the heat a tuk tuk was always available which was great as the week we visited it was 32 degrees but felt like 39 degrees.
We would highly recommend Hikka Villas to anyone who is thinking of staying in the hikkaduwa area, we had the most unforgettable 8 days which were made even better by Chanaka, Chandrika, Sampath and the welcoming bar and restaurant staff that we met during our stay.
